Fume cupboards from Astec®
The Astec range of fume cupboards utilises the latest filtration technology to offer you solutions for chemical hazard control, offering a variety of established products and new developments.
Astec Fume Cupboards combine high levels of operator protection with practical design ensuring a safe working environment and simple installation and maintenance. No ducting is required, the activated carbon filtration technology ensures any hazardous fumes are adsorbed into the filter; HEPA filters to class H13 of BS EN 1822-1 remove powders and particulates.
The versitile range of fume cupboards features a variety of sizes including mini bench mounted designs and mobile units.
When can you use an Astec filtration fume cupboard? In short, whenever you need protection from hazardous chemicals & particulates.
The two key considerations are the types of chemical being used and the volumes in which they are used – or, more to the point, the volumes in which fumes are evaporated. Provided these two criteria can be met by filtration then the Astec range of filtration fume cupboards will be suitable, often instead of a ducted fume cupboard and all its’ associated installation and running costs.
Assessment of these criteria is carried out by us as part of the initial evaluation process – so if filtration is not suitable we will tell you so. As we can also offer ducted fume cupboards you can be sure that our suggested option will always be the most appropriate to match your needs.
All products meet the latest British and European safety standards.
